The St. Paul Cathedral Parish Young Adult Ministry is a parish-centered community of young adults in their 20s and 30s brought together by their shared love of Christ and desire to live out the Catholic Faith through community, spreading the Gospel message to all by our actions.
Through a variety of spiritual, social, and service oriented events, our ministry strives to provide young adults with “Faith and Fellowship” and facilitate their transition into parish life, while tending to the particular pastoral needs associated with living our Catholic Faith in an increasingly secular world. Our Ministry organizes events in which these young adults, regardless of their station in life, may grow friendships, foster a deeper knowledge of their Catholic faith, and give of themselves in humble service to others. Paramount to the bonds of our community is our shared love and dedication to the sacraments of the Catholic Church, particularly, the Eucharist and the sacrament of Reconciliation, as well as fostering a devotion to Mary the Mother of God, the Queen of Heaven.
Located in the Cathedral Parish of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, our Ministry is in the heart of the Diocese. We strive to help all that come through our doors to encounter Christ and know his tender love, while growing deeper in the principal virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity. Furthermore, our Ministry strives to inspire our members to enter into the larger community at St. Paul Cathedral Parish, whose seat is the beautiful mother church of the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
